We Wear the Mask

Julius Williams '26

We live in a doorway

Where we can change the way we act,

talk and present ourselves depending

on the others around us

Do you want to see us broken?

Changing the way we speak surrounded by Others,

rather than with our friends and family.

One day you finally knew that,

We change who we are so

people won't judge us by our looks

or Skin Color people need to realize…

That we wear the Mask!
