Unfading Art

Colors Blending

Unheard voices

The drawings are bleeding

Sleeping together

On a canvas, but

Not a normal one

My head aches

Yearning for peace

Arms aching

Relentless.

My art will never fade

Loud voices

People yelling

Coving my ears like a kid

I’m back again

Sitting alone

Waiting for it to stop

It’s too much

Too loud

Too flashy

Too much going on

I need to leave but they won’t let me

I’ll never be able to leave that house

No matter where I go

What I do

I can’t escape

I don’t like conflict

I don’t get in trouble

I get good grades

I remember all their birthdays.

I sit alone

Sitting with my thoughts

Waiting for someone

To repay what I lost.
