Humans are art.

Because the only meanings we hold are how we’re perceived.

It can be from the feeling inside your heart,

To a whisper that has been received.

Why can’t we choose how to see everything?

I want to be able to love without care.

All people want now are a fling,

you shouldn’t love me only if I was bare.

I want to love someone, but society tells me not to.

Why should I let others say yes or no?

I want to screech into the abyss until my face turns blue,

but instead I pick up my brush and paint like Van Gogh.

What we had may be beautiful and diminished,

but our piece will forever be unfinished.
